Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association

UPDATE: Your RMRPPA board wishes to thank its members, both distributors and suppliers, for their extra financial support provided to be a participant as past members of the Simplify organization.  RMR's past involvement with the Simplify organization has created great results.
The biggest benefit so far was related to a solution for change by the State of Colorado to destination based retail sales tax.  Through the successful legislative passage for and the following implementation of a single portal for Colorado retail sales tax entry, our RMR members have benefited greatly.
Rather than navigating the minefield of Colorado's maze of varying home rule city requirements for separate filings of each city's destination retail sales tax, our RMR members can now utilize the SUTS portal as a single point of entry.
Our RMR members have already successfully saved countless hours of time/expense; time/expense that can now be applied towards building back our industry, to serve our clients, and reach levels that are beyond the pre-COVID business.
2) However, there are more opportunities where RMR's membership in Simplify can provide additional time/expense savings for our RMR members.
Next on the plate for Simplify is a focus on persuasive legal if not legislative actions towards addressing the myriad of requirements/expense that are required by each of Colorado's 71 home rule cities.
With a primary focus on addressing Colorado's unnecessarily challenging business licensing requirements, RMR's continued involvement with Simplify, and its alliance with the combined strength of other business associations memberships, RMR would like to rejoin Simplify (our membership has lapsed for 2021) with the intent of focusing on this particular issue.

Toward that end, RMR once again extends an invitation for extra support from its members to make its Simplify membership possible.  We had a great response for our initial membership.  However, due to the pandemic's impact on our association, RMR has needed to be more careful with its budgeted dollars going forward to assure its members with a well balanced menu of the services that our RMR members have come to expect as we emerge into post-COVID times.
While RMR does have some money to budget to rejoin Simply for 2021, and while RMR wishes to continue its involvement with the Simplify organization into 2021 and beyond, the reality is we lack sufficient funds to maintain our membership with Simplify.  Toward that end...
RMRPPA requests our members to provide a charitable donation to help us cover the total funding needed of $1,000 for our continued Simplify membership.  Your original generosity was greatly appreciated and any amount of support to restart our 2021 membership would be greatly appreciated.  Anything your organization can provide will insure RMR's continued success of simplifying the Colorado's sales/license business environment, working on behalf of all RMR members, via our alliance with Simplify, to enable each of us to spend more of our time/dollars on endeavors that will allow us all to grow, better together.
